Open Source: Transparency and Trust
The core of Ackify is published under the AGPL-3.0 license. This deliberate choice guarantees total transparency on how the platform works and allows everyone to verify the system's security.
Transparency by default
When it comes to cryptographic proofs, trust cannot rest solely on a vendor's word. By publishing our source code, we allow security experts, CIOs, and DPOs to independently audit our signature and verification mechanisms.
Community Edition (CE)
Ackify CE is the community version, freely downloadable and self-hostable. It contains the complete proof-of-reading engine: Ed25519 signatures, verification, REST API. Companies that want full control over their data can install it on their own infrastructure.

SaaS Edition
Ackify SaaS (this platform) extends CE to free you from infrastructure management: managed European hosting, automatic updates, support, team management, and secure file hosting (Pro plan). The SaaS-specific code is proprietary, but the cryptographic core remains identical and auditable.
